Account executives provide a communication link between clients and the advertising agency. Their role is to liaise between the client and agency staff to relay and coordinate advertising campaigns. The communication with clients often continues day to day basis throughout a campaign. They manage administrative and campaign work, making sure everything is completed on time and within the budget. You would usually be reporting to an account manager.
This type of advertising job can see you handling up to four client accounts, depending on the size of your agency. In bigger agencies they can afford to focus more on individual campaigns, so do not assign more than one or two at a time.
